Phoenix Speed Industries started with side-by-sides, and they are still a big part of what we do.
Can-Am X3. Rotax engine rebuilds and builds, wiring, MoTeC plug-and-play engine management, MoTeC dashes and steering wheels, and calibration.
Polaris RZR Pro R. MoTeC systems and harnesses, dash and expander wiring, and calibration.
Off-road cars. Class 1 and Class 10 cars and sand rails come through the same shop: engine builds, wiring, standalone engine management, and dyno time.
How we work. Same as the exotics: measure, change one thing at a time, keep the datalogs. A side-by-side that gets driven hard in the desert needs the same discipline as a race car, and we treat it that way.

What we do
Engine Building
Rotax engine rebuilds and builds for the Can-Am X3, plus engine builds for Class 1 and Class 10 cars and sand rails. Same process as the exotics: every build is measured, documented, and assembled to spec, and every clearance and torque value is recorded so the engine can be serviced correctly later.
Standalone Engine Management (MoTeC)
MoTeC is our specialty, and Phoenix Speed Industries is an authorized MoTeC dealer. Plug and play engine management for the X3 and the RZR Pro R, MoTeC dashes and steering wheels, and full standalone systems for Class 1 and Class 10 cars.
Wiring and Harnesses
Wiring and Harnesses
Dash and expander wiring, engine and chassis harnesses built in house for the X3, the RZR Pro R, and Class 1 and Class 10 cars. Wired and labeled so a circuit can be traced and serviced later.
Dyno Tuning
Wiring and Harnesses
We tune on our own Mainline hub dyno. A hub dyno bolts to the hubs instead of spinning rollers, so there is no tire slip, which matters even more on paddles and desert tires.
Diagnostics
Electrical and driveability diagnostics on the X3, the RZR Pro R and off-road cars. If a machine has a problem nobody else can find, that is usually where we start.
Race and Desert Prep
Pre race inspections, teardown inspections, fluid and safety checks, and the setup work that keeps a car finishing in the desert. If you are starting or rebuilding an off-road program, we can put the systems in place for it, from data logging and maintenance schedules to spares and inspection routines.
